1. Download the Mobile App
First, download the Apna Meter Apni Reading App either through the Google Play Store or the App Store.
2. Login or Register
Once downloaded, you will need to create your account using your 14-digit reference number (which is displayed on your electric bill), mobile number, and CNIC.
3. Take a Picture of Your Meter
Using the app, you get to open your camera on your phone and take a clear shot of your electricity meter, displaying the current figures in use.
4. Submit the Reading
After updating the photo, the app checks the photo with the recognition code and stores it in the WAPDA system to use it in charging bills. You will get an SMS to acknowledge your reading.
